Cells and Viruses in My Body

My understanding is based on my own world including the micro world, it can show a process of growth, change and even drastic change. Through visualized graphics, it can be geography or abstract field, presents my journey in my MA study life. My inspiration is a recently popular Japanese anime called “Working Cell”. Everyone has lots of cells and viruses in the bodies. Like the COVID-19 is a new type of unknown virus. So if my body is compared to a map, then the distribution of these running cells and viruses can be a map to show special journey.

Research

I first conducted a simple and systematic secondary research of cells and viruses, so that I could make a simplified map of my body’s cells and viruses.

Outcome

The final map describes the journey which cells and viruses coexist and fight in my body in the new year. In this special year, the visual map shows the cells and viruses in my body may bring people empathy and understanding.
