Project 4 is a relatively open subject, which arouses designers’ thinking from several contemporary and future problems. The design direction I chose is convergence. I am interested in the phenomena and things that may exist in the future. I think the future direction will be driven and changed by the power of science and technology, and the future design may be a three-dimensional one, rather than a single design mode presented on the screen. My specific subject direction is genetic engineering technology. Assuming that people will live in an era where genes in the gene pool can be changed in the next decade, what will become of the world? What I want to do is that human beings choose to book doctors and scientific and technological personnel through genetic engineering-related apps, modify gene segments and resist diseases or have children (if there is a family that is infertile). I think the challenge of realizing this project is firstly the legitimacy and rationality of the project, and now the controversy of genetic engineering technology is still very big. Secondly, the design of the project is technically professional, which means that a lot of research and scientific data are needed to complete it.
